Triony Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to assess clients\' mental health status, including medical history, current symptoms, and psychosocial factors.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the Medical Director, the client, their families, and other members of the treatment team.

Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, including monitoring for effectiveness, side effects, and potential drug interactions.

Provide ongoing medication management and adjustment as needed to optimize treatment outcomes.

Monitor clients\' progress throughout the treatment program, documenting changes in symptoms, behaviors, and treatment responses.

Collaborate with other Triony healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and counselors, to ensure coordinated care and holistic treatment approaches.

Educate clients about mental health conditions, treatment options, and strategies for self-care and relapse prevention.

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and treatment planning sessions to review client progress and make appropriate adjustments to treatment plans.

Qualifications

Master\'s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with specialization in psychiatric/mental health nursing.

Current licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner in Tennessee.

Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience working in psychiatric/mental health settings, preferably with adult male populations.

Proficiency in conducting psychiatric evaluations, diagnosing mental health disorders, and developing comprehensive treatment plans.

Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and experience prescribing and managing psychotropic medications.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with other members of the treatment team.

Commitment to cultural competency, diversity, and inclusivity in mental health care delivery.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in accordance with professional nursing guidelines and state regulations.
