8-hour shifts, PRN as needed. More About Our Team
Join our Imaging team at Harris Regional, an 86-bed facility offering a full range of services including general surgery, women\'s care, intensive care, and emergency services. Our team uses a filmless environment with PACS for immediate access to patient information and increased efficiency. How You\'ll Contribute
Reviews patient history and physician\'s orders. Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation. When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice. Monitors patient condition and reports changes as appropriate. Prepares equipment and supplies. Selects exposure factors and imaging parameters. Implements safety standards and performs quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshoots malfunctions as necessary. Positions patient and performs imaging procedures. Analyzes results and identifies imaging quality issues. Takes action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning the patient and repeating procedures. Enters, transmits and reports scan results. Why join us

What We\'re Looking For
Applicants should have an associate\'s degree and be echo certified or registry eligible within one year of employment or transfer. Additional requirements include: Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire. ACLS and PALS within six months of hire. One year of experience preferred. ASLS certification preferred.
