Overview
Vascular Ultrasound Tech - PRN at Odessa Regional Medical Center. Requires On-Call Rotation - 1 weekend per month. Responsibilities
Performs diagnostic procedures as directed by physicians Operates Vascular Sonography equipment as directed by physicians in accordance with vascular sonography quality assurance and quality control Maintains department records, reports, charts and files Performs Vascular Studies including but not limited to: Carotid Scans, Venous Scans, Abdominal Scans, Arterial Doppler's Graft/Stent Scans, and Ultrasound Guided Biopsies Prepares results to review with physicians Performs other related tasks as directed by supervisor Qualifications
Licensure in the State of Texas and ARDMS registry required Associate's degree or its equivalent and certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers required 2+ years of experience in vascular sonography preferred Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field About Odessa Regional Medical Center
