Base pay range $21.00/hr - $24.15/hr

High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
At least one (1) year experience providing care to individuals with a diagnosis of dementia or other cognitive impairment
Must successfully complete all Atria specified training programs.
Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Able to write simple correspondence.
Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed.
Must be fully vaccinated and provide vaccination record card at time of hire.
Job Responsibilities
The Memory Care Assistant performs personal care and related services as assigned by the Wellness Director, focusing on the holistic needs of residents.
Assist with facilitating programming and resident engagement as directed by the Memory Care Director.
Attend to all care needs of residents in Memory Care neighborhood.
Set up tables for meals, serve meals and drinks, and assist with clean-up.
Provide snacks and beverages to residents, including those in their rooms during snack time.
Engage in structured and unstructured activities to promote resident interaction and participation.
Support residents' independence with ADLs, find opportunities for choices, and provide encouragement.
Handle laundry, garbage disposal, and light housekeeping duties in resident areas.
Assist with activities of daily living per individual service plans.
Greet and engage new residents, provide verbal encouragement, and motivate participation.
Prioritize tasks, communicate resident needs to the appropriate personnel, and may drive the community vehicle if required.
Perform other duties as assigned to support resident well-being and community operations.
