Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) sought by Neuropsychiatric & Counseling Associates, a collaborative and growing practice with three PMHNPs and one counselor. Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient\'s specific needs. Provide medication management, including administration of psychotropic medications. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Engage in telehealth consultations as needed to enhance patient access to care. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options. Experience / Qualifications
Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems. Familiarity with behavioral health practices and psychopharmacology. Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and medical documentation procedures. Experience working in psychiatric hospital units and outpatient psychiatric practices. Background in geriatrics, pediatrics, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Master\'s degree required. Benefits & Compensation
