$10k pro‑rated for part‑time employees for newly hired experienced RNs with 2 years of experience in the specialty hired for. Job Purpose

Provides an ongoing assessment and care of the mother through the postpartum periods according to established guidelines. Provides ongoing assessment and care of the newborn according to established guidelines. Provides education to maternal newborn dyad from birth to discharge. Orchestrates and coordinates discharge planning and follow up care for mother and newborn. Participates in ongoing maternal newborn unit based quality initiatives. Maintains clinical practice in accordance with AWHONN, ACOG, NRP, and AAP established guidelines. Successfully completes the maternal newborn unit based competency programs as required. Qualifications/Requirements

BSN preferred Current MA RN Licensure Current AHA BLS or ARC BLS required, NRP required prior to completion of unit orientation Current mother baby/ nursery experience required; Level 1B nursery experience strongly preferred Newly hired experienced RNs interested in committing to a minimum of two years of employment at Cambridge Health Alliance, may be eligible to receive a retention bonus of $10,000. Part‑time employees may be eligible for a prorated retention bonus. Please speak with your HR Advisor for details.
