Overview
This position supports Operations Department objectives by keeping production equipment operating safely and efficiently. This position ensures Company facilities are maintained to the Company standards. Responsibilities
Supervise the daily, weekly and monthly preventative maintenance inspections; conducts safety compliance inspections and maintains records of the production equipment Analyzes equipment failures, determines cause(s) and makes necessary adjustments or repairs Assign responsibilities to the staff and make changes as deemed necessary Coordinate with the Director of Operation and Operation Supervisor to schedule repairs and PM to the equipment to minimize downtime Keep records of all repairs and PM of the equipment Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor Help with Supervision when unloading ships Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers Knowledge of PLC Knowledge of automated production lines Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook) Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices Associated degree preferred Physical Demands/Work Environment
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone Location
