Guide data collection, analysis, and design processes relating to physical work sites, blueprints, GIS data maps, substation components, equipment specifications, and standards such as NEC, IEEE, NESC, ANSI, NCEC, and NERC. Review and approve electrical infrastructure plans for various projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and regulations. Apply advanced electrical engineering techniques across project phases including concept, preliminary, final design, procurement, construction, and operation. Design and review electrical systems such as single line diagrams, wiring, substations, grounding, and lightning protection in accordance with applicable standards. Incorporate future-ready techniques, smart technology, and operational strategies into designs, considering safety and functionality. Evaluate electrical load calculations, equipment sizing, protective device coordination, and develop related plans and specifications. Manage the development of project documentation, including cost estimates, safety plans, and layout updates, coordinating with stakeholders. Integrate advanced technologies and modeling techniques for optimal system performance and future readiness. Lead project management activities from inception to completion, including design, construction, and compliance monitoring. Supervise and coordinate cross-functional teams ensuring project delivery within scope, schedule, and budget. Prepare data visualizations, reports, and presentations for complex analyses and findings. Maintain high standards of quality and responsiveness to client needs. Conduct field investigations, risk assessments, and develop mitigation strategies. Develop and enforce site safety plans and interact professionally with regulatory agencies, clients, and subcontractors. Collaborate on federal, state, regional, and local projects, supporting proposal and business development efforts. Stay current with the latest electrical engineering practices and standards. Ensure ethical decision-making and adherence to company policies. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 7+ years of relevant experience, including federal projects involving power, lighting, and distribution systems. Knowledge of infrastructure design, proficient in US and international standards. Flexible with schedules and capable of adapting to dynamic environments. Professional Engineer license and ability to pass security background checks (US citizenship required). Proficient in electrical engineering principles, smart building technology, and related software (Revit, AutoCAD, etc.). Experience with electrical infrastructure planning, design, and construction management. Strong communication, leadership, and technical writing skills. Ability to work independently and lead teams, with a focus on quality and safety. Preferred Qualifications

Active US Government Secret Security Clearance. Experience managing projects of varying sizes. Additional certifications like LEED AP and PMP. WSP offers comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, retirement, paid leave, and more. Compensation ranges from $103,500 to $175,230 depending on location and experience.
