Overview The AWS Cloud Project Manager leads end-to-end cloud and DevOps initiatives, aligning business objectives with technical execution. This role requires strong project management skills, AWS expertise, and experience driving automation and Agile delivery across teams.
Responsibilities
Manage AWS cloud migration, modernization, and DevOps projects.
Define project scope, deliverables, and timelines; track risks and dependencies.
Oversee CI/CD pipeline automation and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Coordinate provisioning, monitoring, and optimization of AWS resources (EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS).
Ensure compliance, cost efficiency, and security best practices.
Act as liaison between technical, product, and leadership teams.
Promote DevOps culture and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
7+ years in IT project management, including 3+ in cloud/DevOps.
Strong knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, etc.).
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CodePipeline) and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Skilled in Agile/Scrum and ITIL frameworks.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
AWS (Cloud Practitioner, Architect, or DevOps Engineer) certification.
PMP, CSM, or PRINCE2 certification.
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes, monitoring tools (Grafana, ELK), and cloud cost management.
