Principal Product Manager - Tech, IT Services (ITS)

We're seeking an impactful IT leader to join our team and play a significant role in driving strategic service, products, programs and technology initiatives; shaping the future of and delighting how Amazonians receive IT Support.

Key Responsibilities

Drive future service delivery and product strategies, working closely with AI scientists, engineering, design, and operational teams

Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from conception through launch and post-launch optimization

Develop and maintain service/product roadmaps aligned with business objectives and customer needs

Lead cross-functional teams through periods of transformation and change

Navigate complex organizational dynamics

Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of future services and products

Identify and assess opportunities for service & product innovation and improvement

Manage dependencies across teams and drive execution of complex technical initiatives

Champion the adoption of emerging technologies, particularly in AI and machine learning

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

10+ years of end to end product delivery experience

10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

10+ years of technical product or program management experience

Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
