The Position Regional Project Controls Lead

The Opportunity The Project Controls Lead for North America is responsible for knowledge management regarding Project Controls within the North America region of Roche Diagnostics. The key responsibilities include:

Leading, managing, and developing the community of Project Controls experts in North America, as well as interfacing with external parties and professional institutions.

Providing professional support to project teams in the areas of Project Controls.

Defining and disseminating best practices, ensuring consistency of approach, and reporting on the adequacy of Project Controls on individual projects.

Promoting and communicating Roche Diagnostics Project Controls guidelines (Diagnostics Project Practices), offering expert advice regionally and globally if needed.

Supporting project reviews in the Project Controls field to ensure large projects follow and apply Diagnostics Project Practices.

Assisting project teams in defining and procuring external resources for Project Controls support.

The scope of Project Controls within Roche Diagnostics Engineering includes Cost Management, Schedule Management, Change Management, Risk Management, and Reporting across all project phases.

Who You Are

An engineering degree or equivalent, or training as a Quantity Surveyor.

15+ years of relevant experience in Project Controls and/or Project Management.

A proven track record of successful capital project delivery.

Recognized as an expert in Project Controls.

Willingness to travel up to 20-30%, mainly within the US.

Preferred

PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.

Advanced knowledge and experience in mechanical, electrical, automation, civil, maintenance, design, construction, and commissioning.

Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus.

Relocation benefits are available for this position.

The expected salary range for this position, based in New Jersey, is $156,200 - $290,000. Actual compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, location, and other factors. A discretionary annual bonus may be offered, and benefits are detailed at the provided link.
