The Religious Studies Program at the University of New Mexico (UNM) is hiring Adjunct Faculty to teach undergraduate courses in Fall 2023, Spring 2024, and Summer 2024 semesters. Positions may include teaching in various disciplines, including but not limited to courses like RELG 1110: Introduction to World Religions. Responsibilities include delivering the curriculum, developing and grading assignments, reporting grades, and assessing student outcomes. Positions are contingent upon enrollment and course demand each semester. Candidates will report to the Program Director. Best Consideration Dates: Fall 2023: April 30, 2023 Spring 2024: November 15, 2023 Summer 2024: March 15, 2024 Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Religious Studies or a related field, or a Master's degree in another field with at least 18 graduate credits in the discipline. Preferred Qualifications: Two years of professional experience in the field Doctorate from an accredited institution Teaching experience at the post-secondary level Experience with various teaching modalities (Face-to-Face, Remote, Online) Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success Application Instructions
