Recruitment Consultant - Florida Transportation & Land Survey
Base pay range
$72,800.00/yr - $89,440.00/yr
Location Pensacola, FL
Key Responsibilities
Field Operations
Lead and coordinate daily activities of the survey crew.
Perform boundary, topographic, construction, and control surveys.
Operate and maintain survey equipment including GPS, total stations, and data collectors.
Ensure field data is collected accurately and efficiently.
Data Management & CAD Integration
Process field data and prepare it for drafting and analysis.
Collaborate with CAD technicians and engineers to ensure data compatibility.
Assist in drafting survey plats, maps, and legal descriptions using CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred).
Team Leadership
Train and mentor junior crew members.
Ensure safety protocols are followed on-site.
Communicate effectively with project managers and office staff.
Quality & Compliance
Verify accuracy of field data and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Maintain detailed field notes and documentation.
Adhere to local, state, and federal surveying regulations.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in land surveying, with at least 1 year in a crew chief role.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar CAD software.
Strong understanding of survey principles, equipment, and procedures.
