Job Summary:
This Operations Service Manager will ensure branch operations run efficiently and according to standard operating procedures. You’ll support drivers, warehouse associates, service technicians and associate care center teams at the highest level.
Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities
On-site at branch daily, working with internal associates and branch leadership to drive efficient operations
Lead the team of route drivers, maintaining appropriate staffing levels with safe, well‑trained drivers to meet client needs
Serve as the branch’s fleet champion, ensuring key performance metrics in sustainability, finance, and safety are met or exceeded
Lead the associate care center, ensuring the appropriate leader is in place to connect with drivers and daily tasks are completed according to Canteen policy
Knowledge of all equipment, fleet and technology used by team to run effective routes and operate an efficient warehouse
Skilled in preparing reports to be used in presentations to associates or leadership
Preferred Qualifications
Highly organized with strong written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to change and thrives in a dynamic environment, while maintaining a positive and patient attitude
Work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Assertive, yet capable of building and maintaining effective relationships
High attention to detail and exceptional work quality
