Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and hands‑on Superintendent to oversee HVAC and plumbing crews on commercial construction projects. This leadership role is ideal for someone who excels at jobsite coordination, subcontractor supervision, and ensuring quality control from ground‑up through project completion. You will be the boots‑on‑the‑ground leader ensuring every aspect of construction is executed safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise HVAC and plumbing crews, subcontractors, and field personnel across assigned projects.

Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure construction is executed per plans, specs, and schedules.

Oversee jobsite logistics, safety compliance, and quality assurance protocols.

Plan project work schedules and coordinate material and equipment deliveries.

Maintain accurate daily reports, look‑ahead schedules, RFPs, and timesheets using company tech systems.

Lead weekly safety meetings and manage site safety certifications.

Manage on‑site communication with vendors, clients, inspectors, and internal stakeholders.

Ensure subcontractors meet performance and quality expectations, including proper installation methods.

Conduct on‑site inspections to resolve conflicts and proactively mitigate schedule disruptions.

Manage storage, maintenance, and proper use of company‑owned equipment and tools.

Qualifications

5+ years in mechanical construction, with at least 3 years in a Superintendent or Foreman role.

Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC and plumbing systems, with experience reading blueprints and coordinating MEP work.

Trade licenses and certifications as required.

Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Ability to work in physically demanding environments and remain calm under pressure.

Proficient in digital construction tools and reporting systems.

Working knowledge of OSHA and other relevant safety standards.

Ability to maintain a clean, professional appearance and represent the company with pride.
