We are currently hiring a
Customer Service Supervisor
to work in our
Plymouth, MN
location, at a rate of
$70 - $82K . Auer Steel also provides a great opportunity to grow in the HVAC career, within a well-established company. The purpose of this role is to provide information and problem‑solving solutions to customers, in a professional and friendly manner.
Responsibilities
Support, strengthen and develop a talented team of Counter and Call Center individuals.
Manage and monitor phone systems to ensure suitable wait times and coverage for inbound phone calls.
Manage schedules and staffing to ensure there is sufficient coverage.
Monitors productivity of inside sales representatives, identifies area of improvement and generates reports.
Monitors customer calls to observe employee demeanor, technical accuracy, and conformity to company policies.
Answers questions and recommends corrective services to address customer complaints.
Keys information into computer to compile work volume statistics for accounting purposes and to keep records of customer service requests and complaints.
Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.
Prepares composite reports from individual reports by subordinates.
Work closely with peers on the Operations team (Shipping, Receiving and Material Handling) to improve branch operations and heighten customer experiences.
Coordinate with other departments across the company on projects, training opportunities, and occasional events as needed.
Responsible for setting up and maintaining showroom to align with current sales promotions, ensuring a fresh and contemporary environment for both customers and employees.
Qualifications
2‑year associate degree in HVAC field or equivalent work experience.
Alternate requirement: 4‑year bachelor’s degree in a technical field may be considered.
Understanding of thermodynamic fundamentals and principles.
Customer service experience.
Good communication skills with customers & co‑workers.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Great time management skills.
Great attention to detail.
Ability to work well with others within a team environment.
Honesty and good ethical practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other commonly used software.
Previous experience with ERP software Epicor Prophet 21 is advantageous but not required.
