The position has a starting pay range of $13.00 to $13.50 per hour, with starting pay determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. Responsibilities
Executes receiving and merchandising standards; ensures Associates process merchandise efficiently and work as a team. Engages with customers to provide an excellent customer experience and maintains a clean, organized store; role models exceptional customer service. Creates a positive internal and external customer experience; promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality. Orchestrates truck delivery and prioritizes processing of merchandise onto the sales floor. Trains and mentors Associates on established merchandising and processing principles. Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded; communicates with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to the sales floor. Monitors team productivity and coaches as necessary; prioritizes tasks to meet store plans. Organizes and rotates back stock for replenishment; maintains merchandising philosophy and signage standards. Upholds cleanliness and recovery standards for backroom areas; ensures compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs where applicable. Communicates priorities clearly with management and Associates; provides progress updates; accepts recognition and constructive feedback. Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness; ensures adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures. Promotes credit and loyalty programs; supports shrink reduction goals and safety initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned. Who We’re Looking For
Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail Capable of multi-tasking Able to respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation Able to train others 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience Benefits and Equal Opportunity
