Advanced Specialist, Reliability – MDG & MIQA Support Role

The plant’s mission is to uphold the highest standards of safe plant operation for the protection of employees, the environment, and the community. Responsibilities

Inspect equipment to national standards, identify damaged equipment, classify findings, and recommend corrective actions. Provide written inspection reports documenting findings and corrective actions. Specify repair scopes and techniques, review repair documentation, and inspect compliance with national standards. Assist with planning jobs, managing a backlog of work for welders, and monitoring inspection metrics. Qualifications

High School Graduate or GED equivalent. 2‑year trade school or college or equivalent industrial work experience. Basic computer application skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to lift ~55 lbs and work at heights, in confined spaces, and wear required PPE. Near vision acuity Jaeger J2 vision test at 12–17 inches and color perception test. Excellent organizational, communication, and autonomous work skills. Flexibility to work urgently on work and on a flex work schedule. Preferred Attributes

API 510, API 570, or API 653 certifications highly preferred. Experience in a chemical plant maintenance role (minimum 2 years). High hazard chemical process plant maintenance experience. Radiographic film interpretation, welding experience, technical writing, and fixed equipment inspection experience. National certifications as listed in the job description. Pass and maintain nationally recognized certifications:

American Society for Nondestructive Testing Visual Testing Level II, USW Certified Welding Inspector, American Society for Nondestructive Testing Liquid Penetrant Testing Level II, American Society for Nondestructive Testing Ultrasonic Thickness Testing Level II, American Society for Nondestructive Testing Eddy Current Level II, EPRI IRIS inspection method, API 510, API 570, and API 653.
