Overview
Vice President, Product Management Global Credit at Mastercard. Lead the commercialization effort of consumer credit products globally, reporting to the SVP Global Credit. Develop in-depth knowledge of consumer credit products, insights, priorities, and a competitive market landscape to create and execute a global commercialization strategy. Support critical credit RFPs, drive sales enablement and global support, and collaborate with partners to drive awareness and usage of Mastercard consumer credit products and value proposition. This role may also contribute to informing new product development ideas. Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of consumer credit commercialization strategy globally. Identify and lead relevant consumer and customer research informing current and future credits products at global, regional, or country level. Maintain and refresh global insights related to consumer, customer, and industry trends (best practices, competitive updates) to inform enhancements or new value propositions/products. Present key insights to internal and external stakeholders, including industry forums, customer meetings, and external media engagements; enable regions to leverage global practices around product positioning and insights. Lead global support of critical credit RFPs in partnership with regional/local product teams and key customers. Manage the consumer credit sales pipeline, MI, and KPI tracking. Partner with the IMC team to develop and execute external marketing and communications strategies globally; align with regional product and marketing teams. Collaborate with the Digital Performance Management team on portfolio management tools, segmentation, acquisition practices, and portfolio P&L tailoring to support issuer business cases for proactive management and optimization. Work with global and regional services teams to develop and implement new solutions generating incremental cardholder spend or services revenue (e.g., Marketing Services, Security Services, Consultancy). Lead collaboration with Sales Excellence and IMC to ensure robust sales enablement and internal communications. All About You / Key Requirements
Strong business acumen with ability to develop creative solutions driving results for customers and Mastercard. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage internal stakeholders (e.g., Marketing, regional product teams, Services). Very strong written and verbal communication; excellent presentation skills are a plus. Proven experience translating consumer insights into actionable product strategies focused on growth, customer experience, and brand perception. Experience in marketing and/or sales (B2C or B2B). Passionate about delivering best-in-class customer and consumer experiences in product management. Strong people management and leadership experience. Excellent execution capability, quality, and on-time delivery. Willingness to learn and ability to challenge the status quo constructively. In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming the role is performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions. The base salary offered may vary based on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Benefits generally include insurance (medical, prescription, dental, vision, disability, life), FSA/HSA, paid leaves (including 16 weeks new parent leave and up to 20 days bereavement), 80 hours Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 vacation days plus 5 personal days, 10 US holidays, 401k with company match, and other benefits.
