Primary Responsibilities
Project Manager to advance planning, design and construction administration of water and wastewater facilities projects in Ohio, with responsibilities spanning client development, project management, and project delivery.
Direct project staff, lead water/wastewater projects, provide project and task management, perform complex process engineering for proposals and projects, and prepare reports and technical documents.
Lead design calculations and specifications for water and wastewater treatment facilities and/or conveyance/distribution systems; communicate with clients and stakeholders; work with local team to grow the Water Business Group in Ohio.
In this role you will:
Plan and manage small to medium single-disciplinary projects and large multi-disciplinary projects.
Coordinate work of engineers and balance planning/design teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Establish client relations and participate in marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.
Participate in reviews with governing agencies and conduct design development and contract document work with staff.
Coordinate workload and ensure documents are completed on schedule; track financials and adjust efforts to meet schedule.
Coordinate with project controls and business leadership for project reviews; lead client meetings and workshops; provide leadership and mentoring for water/wastewater engineers.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
7 years of related experience; minimum of 2 years project management experience.
Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal) and leadership skills; ability to interact with multiple design teams.
Active participation in an employee-owned culture is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
M.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
Licensed professional engineer in Ohio or ability to obtain license within 1 year.
Experience with collaborative delivery methods for water/wastewater facilities and pump stations.
Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera; Revit, MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
Local candidates preferred.
