Sargent & Lundy LLC seeks a Manager at its facility located at 1 AAA Drive, Suite 201, Hamilton, NJ 08691. Hybrid telecommuting is permitted, with 3 days per week in office. Responsibilities

Manage and grow a project team consisting of engineers and designers involved in the design, modification, and analysis of new as well as existing high voltage substations. Investigate, troubleshoot, and implement solutions to expand and modernize the electric grid. Direct the team lead in coordinating engineering and design from concept through detailed design execution, field support, and closeout. Support overall account management and client engagement with peer-to-peer reporting, coordination, and conflict resolution. Lead efforts to ensure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget. Coordinate and execute facility studies for various RTOs and coordinate systems design activities to ensure installation and operations comply with specifications, codes, and client requirements. Prepare reports and studies presenting technical information clearly to meet client requirements and S&L formats. Perform independent reviews of work performed by others including calculations and drawing preparation. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering or a related field, plus 10 years of experience as a Project Manager, Electrical Engineer, or related occupation working with substations. Experience with: (1) Utilizing design codes and standards (NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEC, IEEE, ANSI) for substation engineering and design; (2) Designing multi-disciplined solutions for utility high voltage substations in a project team environment including electrical, civil, structural scopes and design basis for conceptual development; selecting equipment and materials; and preparing construction packages; (3) Leading an engineering design team through all phases of project design; (4) Utilizing MISO facility studies and DPP process to assist clients in preparing interconnection applications and supporting utilities review of generator applications; (5) Managing Utility Transmission & Distribution Substation projects. $131,123 - $215,440 Transparency & Equal Opportunity
