Partner closely with design and engineering teams to ensure quality is embedded in the product from the outset, maintaining a deep understanding of product design and manufacturing for multiple system architectures

Define and implement robust quality processes across internal operations and external partners. Over time, grow and lead a quality team focused on subsystems, production, process quality, and supplier development

Develop and execute quality control plans specific to Firehawk’s proprietary propellant manufacturing methods. Track and report quality metrics to proactively identify areas for improvement

Work with engineering to manage and review Technical Data Packages (TDPs), define critical and major characteristics for new TDPs and maintain configuration control of existing TDPs

Specify and develop inspection tooling, including automated defect detection systems for assembly and integration tasks, based on TDP requirements

Support the standup of Firehawk’s Quality Management System (QMS), including the creation and continuous improvement of documentation, policies, and workflows

Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and investigations as needed in support of company-wide objectives

Implement and maintain 5S practices across all facilities to ensure effective housekeeping, organized tool control, and proper torque qualifications of equipment
