Responsibilities
The Children's Program Worker is an important member of the Parents Care & Share team, providing services that are critical to the success of this child abuse prevention program. As a Children's Program Worker, you will provide nurturing caregiving, attentive supervision, and organized activities for children ages birth to 17 years old while their parents attend parenting support groups. For children over the age of 3, activities include structured group time and social-emotional activities that enhance children\'s self-esteem and their ability to resolve conflict in a healthy way. High School diploma / equivalent required; some Child Development or Human Services college coursework preferred. One year of experience working with children required. You are at least 18 years of age. Job details
Compensation: Hourly; range is between $16.00-$19.39 per hour. Offers are commensurate with experience; bilingual candidates may receive additional compensation. The salary range provided represents our current estimate for this role at the time of posting and is subject to change. The final salary will be determined based on a range of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate\'s relevant experience, education, qualifications, skills, certifications, and alignment with organizational needs. Location: Groups take place in community-based locations in Bloomington, IL. Schedule: Part-time, hourly; covers weekly groups requiring at least two hours per week.
