Our Maritime group comprises analysts, planners, and civil/structural engineers working across major locations in the US and internationally. Major clients include port authorities, U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, terminal operators, contractors and private entities. Responsibilities

Independently perform and supervise structural analysis and design for marine and upland components Independently perform and supervise berthing and mooring analyses Lead development of plans, specifications, schedules and cost estimates for a variety of port and Navy projects Understand maritime codes and references including UFC, PIANC, ASCE-61 Independently prepare basis of design, design calculations, technical reports, alternatives analysis, and study reports Understand interdisciplinary requirements for port projects and be capable of performing QA/QC reviews Attend client meetings and perform site visits Mentor developing port and maritime engineers Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs Required Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of experience in analysis and design of port structures Professional Engineer Licenses Bachelors in Civil/Structural Engineering Excellent written and oral communication skills Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies Preferred Qualifications

Masters Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering Previous experience in analyses and design of medium to large scale ports/maritime/Navy structures and preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates National professional practice organization involvement Hands-on analyses and design experience (SAP2000, OPTIMOOR, L-PILE, SLIDE) About WSP
