Position Overview As a Technician Assistant you will provide support to Lead Technicians and the production department. You will serve the community of Oahu by responding, restoring, and rescuing properties impacted by water, fire, mold, and biohazard. You will make a difference as you care for and serve customers in their homes and businesses. Welcoming all who want to learn the science of mitigation. No experience is required for this position, training will be provided. You will learn about different building materials and structures, best cleaning practices, equipment, containment building, and how to properly conduct demolition.
Primary Duties
Performs remediation and cleaning of water/mold/fire/biohazard matter under the supervision of a lead technician including water extraction, content manipulation, demolition, removing/disposal of non-salvageable materials, and more
Transporting, setting up, and removing equipment all over the island to and from job sites
Load and prepare vans
Equipment and warehouse maintenance/cleaning
Engaging and speaking with customers
Taking and uploading pictures and notes
Qualifications
GED or High School Diploma
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
Have a valid driver's license
Must be able to pass a minimal background check and drug test
Effective communication skills
Other Duties and Responsibilities
May be asked to work weekends or after-hours
Must be punctual and reliable
