Sr. Project Manager - Alternative Design . We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager for Transportation Alternative Delivery Projects to oversee complex transportation, structures, and roadway projects using innovative delivery methods such as Design-Build, P3, CMGC, PDB, and IPD. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Management:
Develop and monitor project plans, scope, schedule, budget, and resources. Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. Risk Management:
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle. Quality Assurance:
Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations. Financial Management:
Oversee budgets, expenses, and financial reporting. Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration and high performance. Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accurate records. Position Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically with alternative delivery methods for transportation projects. Design experience on alternative delivery or design-build projects is required. Proven success in managing large-scale transportation projects from start to finish. Strong understanding of Design-Build, P3, CMGC, PDB, and/or IPD methodologies. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (AEC Industry) with at least 6 years of professional experience, or 10 years of equivalent experience. Experience managing larger projects or programs, with strong organizational skills. Effective communication and stakeholder interaction skills. Knowledge of industry standards, quality assurance, and safety protocols. Problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects. Negotiation skills for contracts and scope management. Preferred
Master’s Degree in a related field (AEC Industry). Certificates and Licenses
Completion of KCI PM Training and Contract Risk Training; PM Board certification required within six months if not already certified.
