Overview
Close to Report Common Development Analyst (Experienced or Senior) role at Boeing. This position focuses on processes, systems and tools within the Close to Report value stream and will be instrumental in enhancing our future financial systems to ensure accurate and efficient processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance, accounting processes, systems analysis and SAP S/4 Hana, with a proven ability to collaborate across teams to drive improvements and implement solutions. The role is available in multiple locations: Tukwila, WA; Arlington, VA; Charleston, SC; Chicago, IL; El Segundo, CA; Everett, WA; Hazelwood, MO; Huntington Beach, CA; Mesa, AZ; Philadelphia, PA; Renton, WA. Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and change management skills, strong verbal communication and interpersonal abilities, and experience in SAP S/4 Hana related to Close to Report value stream activities, including Project Manufacturing Management and Optimization (PMMO). Key Responsibilities
Analyze and optimize accounting processes within finance systems, specifically SAP S/4 Hana, to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and industry standards Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including accounting, finance, procurement, manufacturing, and IT, to gather requirements and design solutions that enhance functionalities Lead system testing and validation efforts to ensure that new functionalities meet business requirements and are implemented successfully Provide training and support to end-users on finance systems, ensuring they understand processes and tools Identify opportunities and automation within the Close to Report processes and tools Stay current with industry trends and best practices in finance systems to recommend enhancements Travel up to 5% Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems, or a related field 3+ years of experience in finance systems analysis, with a focus on financial/cost accounting, or a related field Experience working in SAP S/4 Hana Experience demonstrating an understanding of financial and accounting principles Experience successfully managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environment Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
5+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Experience on the commercial side of aerospace and/or manufacturing industry Proficiency in SAP S/4 Hana, including PMMO Experience articulating complex technical concepts clearly and concisely Drug Free Workplace
