Senior Agile Product Owner

We’re seeking a Product Owner/Manager to join Great American Risk Solutions, a dynamic and diverse operation within the Great American Insurance Group. The role focuses on leading product strategy and agile delivery in the wholesale brokerage market, with emphasis on property, casualty, and specialty insurance products. Responsibilities
Product Vision and Strategy: Lead a cross-functional team to define a product vision, strategy, roadmap, and success requirements; collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into strategic business and technology initiatives; ensure a customer-centric and data-driven approach with measurable outcomes. Product Development and Management: Oversee creation and maintenance of training materials for product adoption; monitor usage and user data to identify opportunities to increase usage and improve user experience; craft roadmaps for one or more teams; participate actively in agile development with a Scrum Master; support Risk Solutions in agile transformation by sharing best practices and coaching partners. Team Collaboration and Leadership: Build relationships with business stakeholders to understand the value of technical solutions; maintain and leverage cross-business relationships; coach or mentor other Product Owners; participate in or facilitate agile ceremonies (standups, planning, retros). Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Field of Study: Business, Management, Information Technology, or related discipline Experience: 10+ years in the insurance or financial services industry preferred; 3+ years of agile leadership as Product Owner/Manager; knowledge of product development and agile methodologies (preferably Scrum and/or SAFe) Certifications: CSPO or SAFe certifications are a plus Additional Information
Travel may be required up to 10% Business Unit
Great American Risk Solutions Salary Range
$127,800.00 - $172,200.00 Benefits
Compensation varies by role, position level, and location. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision plans starting on day one, PTO, paid holidays, commuter benefits, employee stock purchase plan, education reimbursement, parental leave/adoption assistance, and a 401(k) plan with company match.
