Campus Federal Credit Union
is seeking a
Business Development Officer
for the New Orleans region. The primary purpose of this position is to assist Campus Federal in our Mission, to enhance the lives of our members and the communities we serve. This is accomplished by providing excellent service to members and to team members of Campus Federal. This position will implement a business development strategy focused on financial growth, financial education and community service, stakeholder engagement, membership development and growth programs for select employee groups (SEGs) and community partners, meeting the strategic objectives of the credit union. Responsibilities
Assist Vice President of Business Development & Community Relations with member recruitment, conducting and planning sales events/meetings, budgeting, and coordinating special events and sponsor donations to provide optimum exposure and awareness. Serve as liaison between Campus Federal and the campuses and partners (e.g., LSU campuses, LSU Health System, UMC, VA, LCMC and other affiliates). Plan, coordinate and represent Campus Federal at membership drives, orientations and registrations for existing SEGs and campuses, including sponsor-related events. Manage Sponsor Integration efforts and input contact information daily into the designated CRM system. Volunteer in assigned communities and campuses in areas that support the Mission of Campus Federal Credit Union. Provide reports to the designated supervisor for contacts, opportunities, community and financial education activities, event support, marketing, performance review and related expenses. Develop and maintain an extensive list of contacts within various departments, organizations, and companies to build and maintain relationships. Manage contact database and maintain favorable relationships with managers/representatives of existing SEGs, campuses, and community partners for coordinating employee benefits and orientation programs. Promote business for the Credit Union by maintaining good member relations and referring members to appropriate in-house personnel and Credit Union affiliates for new products and services. Maintain, reconcile and update the assigned area Business Development Budget; collaborate on gathering materials for donation requests and evaluating potential projects to benefit Campus Federal. Coordinate community/employee service programs, sponsor events, and report Service Solutions program events in appropriate programs in a timely manner. Provide feedback to Marketing and designated supervisor regarding campaigns, potential community partnerships, and marketing efforts to enhance the Campus Federal brand and image. Maintain knowledge of business lending products and general underwriting guidelines; possess knowledge of business deposit products to attract new business members. Work with Consumer Services on service issues and outages involving their staff. Provide and maintain collateral materials for employee groups and campus contacts to use in benefit announcements and new employee orientation packets. Document events through photos and provide press releases to the supervisor and Marketing Department in a timely manner. Develop and maintain an engaged group of Ambassadors on each campus to promote the benefits of the Credit Union across campus communities. Plan sponsor/public relations events including financial education seminars; secure locations, speakers, and Campus Federal representation; arrange food and refreshments; assist with advertising and report on event outcomes; handle donation requests and track results. Develop and implement programs that extend the reach of the Financial Education Program for LSU System campuses and surrounding communities when opportunities arise. Coordinate various community events with strategic partners to enhance Campus Federal’s mission and relations with assigned campuses. Other duties as assigned within the region to support Campus Federal’s strategic goals (e.g., Business Service Account Management, Mortgage Account Management). Job Requirements
