Construction Scheduler - Senior Regional (Location: Los Angeles, CA) Base pay range: $173,000.00/yr - $188,000.00/yr This range is provided by PMCS Group, Inc.. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Sr Construction Manager for Scheduling and Estimating and providing updates and reports for upper management to meet Key Performance Indicators. Supervise Project Schedulers to ensure project timelines are met and interface with OARs, Senior Project Managers, site staff and contractors related to CPM schedules, project scope and budget. Develop and maintain program schedules identifying relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints for construction projects of various types. Interpret and read detailed construction drawings (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Civil, etc.) and determine work scope. Review Contractor\'s Baseline schedule submissions for proper work scope identification and logical sequencing; provide written schedule review comments. Perform QA/QC on contractor schedule submittals for conformance with contract terms; review critical path, cost loading, resource loading, schedule content, recovery schedules, logic relationships, lags, constraints and milestones. Perform schedule Time Impact Analysis for change orders; conduct schedule negotiations with the OAR and contractor for delay time settlements. Assess whether work is in or out of scope and determine if any compensable or non-compensable time extensions have merit. Perform Critical Path analysis and Earned Value analysis. Visit construction sites as needed to monitor contractor schedule progress and provide reports to the project OAR and upper management. Communicate schedule/progress related matters in weekly status meetings and other schedule-related meetings with the Contractor. Conduct Program Schedule QA/QC reviews on a regular basis and provide bi-monthly status updates for Program/Master Schedules. Prepare reports as needed and directed by Management. Qualifications

Required Education

Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor\'s degree in architecture, engineering or construction management. OR graduation with a bachelor\'s degree in any field plus two (2) years of additional experience in the duties above to compensate for the required education. Required Experience and Skills

Minimum eight (8) years full-time paid professional experience in Construction Scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor, preferably in educational facilities or public works projects. Proficiency in Primavera (latest version) and MS Office Suite. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Superior organizational and planning skills Ability to build efficient working relationships with project teams and department staff Understanding of theories, principles and practices of cost engineering, scheduling and schedule forensics Job Details
