As Elevated Beauty Group’s Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of growing our portfolio of professional beauty brands—ARETÉ, SEVEN Haircare, and Simply Organic. This role is dedicated to expanding our market presence by cultivating meaningful relationships with salons, introducing them to our brand family, and ensuring they are equipped with the tools, education, and support needed to thrive. You will blend in-person presence with digital platforms and modern salon business transformation tools to deliver exceptional results, leading strategic salon acquisition efforts and designing tailored onboarding experiences to champion both innovation and human connection—driving growth for our salon partners and for our brands. Key Responsibilities
Champion the growth and lead the new business development for our portfolio of professional beauty brands—ARETÉ, SEVEN Haircare, and Simply Organic—by building a vibrant network of new salon partners and expanding market share through strategic salon acquisition. Embrace the adoption of digital platforms, CRM systems, and salon business transformation tools to equip new partners with resources to modernize operations, strengthen client retention, and accelerate growth. Deliver impactful presentations and product demonstrations both online and in person that highlight the values and benefits of our brands’ products, programs and services. Collaborate with Inside Sales, Education, and Marketing teams to create a white-glove onboarding journey that feels personal, empowering, and seamless. Prospect, cultivate and nurture meaningful relationships with salons that share our vision, identifying ideal partners to bring our brands to life in target markets and communities. Build and nurture a strong network of salon owners, industry partners and professionals, fostering trust-based relationships with a customer-centric approach focused on long-term partnership over transactional growth. Accurately and proactively track and forecast salon growth by pipeline activity, revenue impact, and performance trends. Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Education to design high-impact campaigns, events, salon promotions, and tools that inspire stylists, elevate partnerships and drive revenue. Advocate for new salons by sharing insights, opportunities, and market trends that shape how we innovate, educate, and evolve our sales approach. Key Qualifications
3+ years in professional beauty sales with experience in salon business development. Established network and strong book of salon business with outside sales experience in the salon industry. Natural connector and thoughtful negotiator who thrives in high outreach, prospecting and closing environments. Trust-building: follows up and follows through on conversations, ideas, and promises to clients, with a reputation for getting things done. Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to build, manage, and prioritize a high-performing sales pipeline. Natural problem-solver who uses available resources creatively to help salons solve challenges. Passion for the professional beauty industry and elevating the business of stylists and salon owners. Confident and inspiring in presentations; able to educate and influence salon decision-makers. Innovator at heart—curious, adaptable, and eager to embrace the latest technologies and trends shaping the future of the professional salon industry. Key Requirements
Outside sales and salon industry experience required Excellent verbal and written communications and strong presentation skills Ability to prospect and close new business digitally and in-person Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for travel within the assigned territory Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint; HubSpot CRM preferred Weekends may be required from time to time Overnight travel up to 40% Compensation
Base Salary: $70,000–$75,000 per year + Commission (uncapped) + Bonuses (20%) Pay is commensurate with proven sales success and experience; role is heavily incentivized on commission payouts for new salon acquisitions. Potential for retention bonuses for growth of current and newly added salon partners.
