Hold overall responsibility for assigned projects of low to medium scope and complexity, including planning and executing a project-specific management plan, delivering quality products and services to the client, and managing project financials. Serve as the primary contact between the SSR project team and the client, ensuring Total Project Success in terms of people, product, and profit. Confirm project scope and requirements with the client and stakeholders; assist with developing the project financial plan, proposals, and budgeting; coordinate with the Client Relationship Manager (CRM) or Location Leader as applicable. Develop the project staffing plan and preliminary man-hour budget with the Senior Project Manager, CRM, Department Head, or Location Leader as applicable. Assign a Project Coordinator and coordinate with the client on BIM information flow and model setup; help structure kickoff meetings to communicate scope, expectations, budgets, and standards. Work with the design team to finalize the man-hour budget based on discipline work plans; align with the client on schedule expectations and interim milestones; adjust as needed for information flow. Schedule work, monitor manpower needs, and update man-hour projections; ensure a proactive QA/QC plan for projects. Ensure accurate invoices, participate in collections of accounts receivable, and update monthly revenue projections for each project. Attend meetings with owners, clients, and architects; facilitate communication and document important issues. Monitor project budget, negotiate and administer fees for additional services as needed, and engage in business development with the current client base as appropriate. Identify and manage project risks; respond promptly to information requests from contractors and clients; oversee Construction Administration (CA) to ensure installation conforms to design and quality standards; supervise the closeout process and document lessons learned. Collaborate with Senior PM, CRM or Location Leader to increase knowledge of project scope, budgeting, and revenue projections; participate in internal and external training to enhance technical skills. Qualifications
Technical or Bachelor’s degree in a major technical discipline with ten years of practical experience on similar projects. Professional Engineer Licensure. Healthcare building design experience preferred. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Knowledge of engineering theories and methodologies; understanding of project approach and system design. Basic accounting knowledge and ability to create and maintain budgets. Must be comfortable working with clients.
