Job title:
Multi-Unit Team Leader . You will provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices and lead customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business. You will be the front-line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates, delivering an outstanding client experience, and achieving growth objectives for the three offices. Prior tax preparation experience is not required. Responsibilities
Lead and develop associates across three tax offices; manage office staffing, operations, and logistics with support from Associate Team Leaders Partner with the District General Manager (DGM) to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets; develop local partnerships and manage office community involvement Assist the DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions Conduct timely performance reviews and address performance concerns in coordination with the Associate Relations Center Foster an engaging team environment across all offices through training and coaching Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates Create associate work schedules across all offices and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management Travel between offices as required Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment* Qualifications
People management experience with the ability to grow and develop associates Aptitude for executing growth plans and leading toward a growth culture Strong decision-making and judgment skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset Computer proficiency in MS Office Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns)* Benefits & Community
