Overview

Seasonal Dispatch Supervisor at UPS. This position supervises, trains, develops, and manages workgroups responsible for safety, production and attendance, aiming for high standards in productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety. Responsibilities

Develop and maintain good working relationships with employees, management, and customers. Facilitate training for new and current employees. Ensure all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures, in full compliance with department, station, corporate and local government requirements. Manage department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency. Establish and promote a positive, team-oriented work environment with proactive communication and inter-departmental cooperation. Implement employee development plans to support ongoing growth of department personnel. Provide orientation, skills and safety training, materials, regular evaluations, and proactive coaching for staff. Qualifications

Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs. Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week. Strong oral and written communication skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent (preferred). Management experience (preferred). Other Details

Employee type: Seasonal Location: Minneapolis, MN area Pay range: Base pay for this position ranges from $25.70/hr to $41.80/hr, with additional eligibility for incentive programs; actual pay varies by location, knowledge, skills and experience.
