To facilitate student comprehension and application of concepts, skills, and behaviors that contribute to the development of mature, able, and responsible members of society. Responsibilities
Support the school system's vision, goals, and priorities. Provide a rigorous curriculum aligned with the Alabama Department of Education (ALSDE) and Career & Technical Education (CTE) Course of Study. Sponsor a Career Technical Education Student Organization (CTSO) and participate in at least one program-related competition per year. Adhere to school system rules, policies, and regulations at local, state, and federal levels. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, counselors, and related service providers in educational planning. Assist in developing and implementing individual education and transition plans for students. Engage in professional growth, demonstrate ethics, and show leadership. Utilize current technology for instruction and management. Analyze data and interpret laws, policies, and regulations relevant to the role. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited institution, valid Alabama Teacher's Certificate in the relevant technical subject area, and meeting ESSA requirements or willing to meet them within the designated timeframe. Note:
Private sector employment experience with specialized training or certifications may be considered. Additional Details
Duty Days: 204 Reports To: Principal Salary Range: $50,039 - $100,402 (Certified Salary Schedule CT)
