Maintenance Technician

MacDermid Alpha Electronic Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its SJ R&D facility. The successful candidate will ensure the facility runs smoothly, with responsibilities including conducting routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on machinery and equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a mechanical engineering degree, experience as a maintenance engineer, and vocational training or certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance. They should be able to troubleshoot common electrical and plumbing issues, replace and install electrical components, and diagnose electrical problems.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on machinery and equipment. Perform general facility and production maintenance, including HVAC system, building exterior maintenance, and chemical process equipment. Maintain a clean work area and ensure department spare parts inventory is up to date and organized. Conduct trouble-shooting and implement improvements. Requirements:
Mechanical engineering degree, with some electrical engineering expertise. Experienced maintenance engineer with over 5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Vocational training or certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred. Ability to troubleshoot common electrical and plumbing issues efficiently. What We Offer:
