CIMCO is looking for a professional to oversee and manage complex engineering projects. This role ensures that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and adhere to CIMCO’s stringent quality standards. The candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, analysis, and management of HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing systems for major construction projects, while also mentoring junior designers and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve project goals. Role Responsibilities

Execute projects as an Engineer independently (with supervision) or among a team with other Engineers on the team depending on experience and complexity. Design of refrigeration system for industrial or recreational applications. Select equipment and materials per project’s scope of work and required codes. Coordinate with outside parties such as customers, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure successful completion of the project on schedule and within budget. Coordinate with CIMCO’s various departments such as construction, electrical, controls, manufacturing, and purchasing as required per the project’s scope of work. Generate and issue Engineering drawings and documentation such as construction drawings, system design schematics, and project scheduling. Generate 3D SolidWorks model and spooling for fabrication based on known dimensional constraints, job site, and customer requirements. Generate project flow diagrams or P&ID’s using AutoCAD. Design pipe routing to refrigeration standards while permitting ease of manufacturing and serviceability. Project and component procurement using SAP. Key Decisions

Structural frame design for package frame. Large component placement inside package (Pumps, Compressors, Heat Exchangers, etc.). Pipe routing for efficiency and serviceability. Material and component selection. P&ID and equipment schedule generation. Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

Relevant Years of Experience: 2-4 years Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree Field of Education: Engineering (Mechanical Preferred) Certification: EIT Skills and Knowledge Requirements

Thorough knowledge of refrigeration design and standards. Knowledge of manufacturing methods and structural requirements. Familiarity with Local Building Codes, CSA/UL, ASHRAE, ASME, IIAR, and design specifications. Strong skills with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, SAP. Excellent verbal and communication skills. Able to work effectively with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines. Willingness to ask questions and challenge yourself.
