Meyer Tool, Inc. Reporting to the Quality Manager (QM), the Quality Engineer (QE) will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining work instructions and procedures to meet customer requirements. Support and foster a culture of quality across the organization. Work with teams to ensure standards are met, analyze data for process improvements, and lead root cause investigations. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure process adherence through audits and engagement. Primary Responsibilities include: Driving continuous improvement of quality procedures and compliance Engaging in APQP activities such as FAI, FMEA, PFD, MSA, etc. Managing qualification submissions to customers Supporting QMS compliance via internal audits Reviewing purchase orders and ensuring QMS flow-down Understanding and implementing customer specifications and blueprints Creating inspection instructions and validating inspection methods Assisting in process routing and instruction development Facilitating root cause analysis and process re-design Supporting change implementation to meet quality standards Managing customer sampling programs and containment actions Reviewing MRB documents and supporting audits Participating in customer meetings and handling corrective actions Managing vendor certifications and scrap processes Training team members and performing additional duties as needed Required Education and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IO psychology, or related field, or equivalent experience 8+ years manufacturing experience or relevant education Knowledge of quality and lean tools, Six Sigma Green Belt or similar Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Minitab Ability to interpret blueprints and GD&T Understanding of AS9100, ISO, Nadcap standards Strong process evaluation and improvement skills Excellent communication skills in English Must meet ITAR US Person requirements FAA testing and training mandatory Physical Demands and Work Environment: Regular standing, movement, and lifting up to 50 pounds required.
