RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must be able to speak to customers when quality issues arise. Respond to customer corrective actions. Problem solving both internal and external quality issues. Review customer quality manuals/documentation requirements. Negotiate charge backs from customers when quality issues occur. Review new jobs during the quoting process to assess likelihood of scrap or rejects and determine if additional inspection is required. Arrange sorts by third parties at our customers as needed. Work with others to help update flowcharts, FMEA’s, and control plans as needed. Primarily a first shift position but hours may vary. Responsible for creating Detailed Defect Criteria. Ability to read and understand blueprints. QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
Strong communication skills (this position involves talking to customers and conflict resolution). Strong understanding of our manufacturing process and ability to apply that to problem-solving with customers. The ability to read technical drawings and other documents. Computer skills are required in this position. Will use AS-400, Lotus Notes, Excel, Mini Tab, Inventor, ETQ, and Auto DCP on a regular basis. BENEFITS:
