Continuous Improvement Engineer — $80,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr. Relocation offered. Responsibilities

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all levels of the organization. Develop and implement strategies to optimize work methods and enhance production efficiency. Lead automation and tooling enhancements to improve productivity and reduce costs. Standardize facility layout and implement line balancing techniques to optimize workflow. Use Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to identify and eliminate waste and non-value added activities. Implement Supply Chain Planning (SCP) to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Conduct Time Study analysis to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement. Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and strategies. Work towards MUV reduction by improving processes and eliminating unnecessary steps. Use MTM (Methods-Time Measurement) for process optimization. Determine and implement optimal takt time for various production processes. Implement 5S methodology to improve organization and efficiency. Utilize Kanban system for effective inventory management and production control. Qualifications

Bachelor\'s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry. Proven experience in process improvement, production efficiency, and work method optimization. Demonstrated ability to lead automation, tooling enhancements, and standardize facility layout. Strong knowledge and understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies. Experience with SCP, Time Study, and Cost Savings strategies. Proven track record in MUV reduction and process optimization using MTM. Experience in determining and implementing optimal takt time. Familiarity with 5S methodology and Kanban system. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
