This Per Diem APP role supports a brand-new Orthopedic Walk-In Clinic located at 370 Merrimack Street, Lawrence, MA 01843, providing urgent, same-day visits with evaluation, treatment, and follow-up planning, including on-site radiology services. Per Diem APPs are required to work one full weekend per month and one weekday shift (8- or 12-hour shifts). Clinic hours: Monday – Friday 7:30am – 7:30pm; Saturdays 8:30am – 5:00pm; Sundays 8:30am – 3:00pm. Responsibilities

Evaluating patients by performing appropriate history and physical exams Ordering diagnostic procedures such as laboratory, radiological and special studies when indicated Performing therapeutic procedures such as suturing wounds, foreign body removal, I&D of abscesses, reduction of fractures and dislocations, splinting, casting, and injections Ordering medications, both in the clinic or by prescription Qualifications

Education: Master\'s Degree Physician Assistant required Licenses and Credentials: Physician Assistant state license required Experience: Experience as a licensed Physician Assistant preferred Knowledge, Skills And Abilities: Skilled in taking medical histories, ability to maintain quality control standards, calm and effective response in emergencies, ability to interpret and apply guidelines, clear communication and teamwork Additional Details

Two or more years of Advanced Practice Provider work experience preferred, particularly in Orthopedics or acute care Remote Type: Onsite Pay Range: $120,390.40 - $170,456.00/Annual Grade: 7 Job summary and essential functions reflect the PA role: The Physician Assistant is a licensed provider responsible for assessment and management of patients, including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, care plans, and ongoing evaluation.
