Job Summary The Therapist will provide individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapy to adults age 18 and up. Services are provided both in-person and virtually. They will provide strengths-based, person-centered, and trauma-informed services to clients with mental health diagnoses and co-occurring substance use disorders utilizing a harm reduction approach.

Trilogy, Inc. invests in clinicians to get advanced clinical training (e.g., EMDR, DBT, TF-CBT). Trilogy, Inc. provides the flexibility similar to an outpatient group therapy practice, with the structure of a community mental health agency. Our Therapists are paid for non-direct service activities (like attending meetings and trainings, completing clinical assessments and notes, consulting with other therapists and case collaterals).

Although there is an extensive waitlist, Trilogy, Inc. provides new clinicians with an additional stipend as they are building their caseload.

This position is hybrid, located at the outpatient clinic in Chatham in Chicago. This is a full-time position and may require work in the evenings as clients are available.

Compensation Hourly range $22 - $40/hr (discussed thoroughly in first interview).

Essential Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive bio‑psychosocial assessment services to adults.

Develop individualized treatment plans with the input of the client, their team, providers, and natural supports.

Collaborate with the client’s team to ensure quality of treatment and coordination of care.

Assess client’s personal, medical, emotional, social, and environmental situation to plan for linkage and treatment course, serve as an advocate for clients, linking them to needed community services.

Provide individual psychotherapy and skills training to clients from all levels of care.

Provide case management for assigned clients as needed.

Develop and facilitate weekly psychotherapy groups.

Meet with graduate student co‑facilitators to ensure effective participation in psychotherapy groups.

Actively participate in consultation opportunities to ensure effective treatment.

Maintain documentation and chart in compliance with Medicaid, CARF, and agency standards.

Meet or exceed direct service target.

Perform other related duties and/or projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or other closely related field required.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, or Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts in Illinois preferred.

Minimum two years’ experience working with people with mental health diagnoses and/or substance use diagnoses.

Clinical experience providing individual and/or group therapy to adults in a community mental health setting preferred.
