ChristianaCare's Imaging Department is recruiting for an MRI Technologist to work at Newark Campus during the evening shift.
As an MRI Technologist:
Performs MRI procedures as defined by departmental protocols
Performs duties in RIS, HIS, and Intergy computer systems and accurately enter patient data
Completes transmission of optimum quality images to PACS system
Ensures adequate history of patient is obtained and documented
Performs QC and is able to digitize films
Provides superior customer service to patients, family members, and the health care team
Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices; reports any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations
Demonstrates skills to provide care appropriate to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients
Requirements:
Completion of ARRT registry required. Successful completion of the MRI Registry exam is a job requirement. A technologist who is recruited and non-certified in MRI will have a grace period of 2 years following hire to pass this exam
Completion of a 2 year associate degree program in Radiology
2 years’ experience as an MRI Technologist preferred
Experience with Siemens products preferred

Hourly Pay Range:
$38.22 - $61.16
This pay range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
