Responsibilities
Provide individual, group, and family counseling to promote social, emotional, cognitive, and behavioral changes in clients
Conduct training workshops and on-site visits to childcare providers to enhance their competencies in addressing social/emotional health
Offer consultation and technical assistance services to childcare practitioners and families
Maintain appropriate documentation and perform ongoing assessments of client needs and functioning
Collaborate with local agencies and providers to identify needs for mental health promotion and services
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Infant Mental Health, or a related Human Services field
Minimum of 1,000 hours of supervised direct service experience via practicum, internship, or employment
Must meet Qualified Mental Health Professional status in relevant programs
Proficiency in electronic health records and automated documentation systems
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in providing mental health services in a childcare setting
Knowledge of community resources and regulatory guidelines
Familiarity with cultural competency in service delivery
Skills in problem-solving and networking within the community
