A full-time opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve a K-12 school setting in Schenectady, NY. This contract assignment spans a full semester, supporting two schools with a combined caseload of approximately 45 students. The role offers the chance to work closely within the educational environment, focusing on speech and language assessments and intervention strategies tailored to student needs. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-12 students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals. Manage a caseload of around 45 students across two school locations. Document student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies. Qualifications Valid New York State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred. Experience working within school-based settings with K-12 populations. Strong assessment and intervention skills tailored to school-aged children. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Benefits Full-time contract position spanning a full semester.
