Radiology Technician
at
Verne E. Gibbs Health Center, Poplar, MT . Position
Full-time opportunity, 40 hours per week Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. in an ambulatory care center Consistent and predictable income Paid vacation and paid sick leave Full complement of benefits to include Medical, Dental and Vision insurance, 401k and more Key Duties
Routine exams include skull, facial, sinuses, mastoid, spine, trunk, abdomen, chest, and extremities Perform a variety of technical procedures using non-ionizing high frequency ultrasonic waves for disease diagnosis and obstetrical care Exams include abdominal, renal, liver, gall bladder, pancreas, thyroid, pelvic, and obstetric studies with gestation number, age, anomalies, and general fetal status Notify attending practitioners of significant scan information requiring immediate attention or visualization Schedule routine exams to accommodate patient needs and medical status and deliver immediate care to emergency patients Solo responsibility for modern X-Ray equipment Qualifications
Shall possess a degree or diploma from a professional radiology program approved by the state accrediting agency at program completion Shall have 36 months of experience in radiology Shall possess a current, valid, unrestricted license in a U.S. state, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory Shall possess a valid state driver\'s license throughout employment BLS certification Recruiter Information
