Assist providers and other members of the health care team in the clinic with back office and patient-related tasks. Perform patient care procedures within the Medical Assistant scope of practice, including injections, EKGs, ear lavage, blood draws, and measuring vital signs. Manage rooming and patient flow, including pre-visit preparation, assisting with the patient visit, and post-visit duties. Inform providers of schedule changes affecting patient flow; assist with front office activities and scheduling tasks; report test results as directed by the provider. Contribute to a team-based model focused on safe, high-quality patient care and continuous improvement. Job Requirements
Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program with Washington State Department of Health Medical Assistant – Certified (CM). Knowledge of third-party payer requirements. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency with a PC. $27.25 - $38.49 per hour.
