Inova Health . Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist 2 to join the team. This role is full-time, 36 hours per week, with shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including weekends. Manage mechanical ventilation with high proficiency, including complex forms (HFO, NPPV, PRVC, transport) Perform ventilator weaning with high proficiency Review ventilator support needs daily, develop care plans Formulate care plans based on diagnostics and physiologic data Administer advanced respiratory therapies (heliox, nitric oxide, etc.) with moderate proficiency Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited CoARC respiratory care program Six months in critical care or one year of specialized training Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC) or extensive experience Basic Life Support from AHA at start Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) within one year of hire Licensed in Virginia About Inova: Northern Virginia’s leading nonprofit healthcare provider with over 25,000 team members dedicated to quality care.
