Design laser workstation systems from concept to final checkout plus documentation. Interact with Project Managers and Customer. Lead Mechanical Engineer on low complexity projects Work cross functionally with Electrical/Software Engineers, Purchasing, and Manufacturing Technicians. Essential Skills
Design and detail of main system components and assemblies(sheet metal and frames, plates) Entry level tooling design/fixturing (machined component design) Implementation of GD&T per ASME Y14.5 Proficient in the use of CAD Design (SolidWorks/other) Design of pneumatic systems, schematics Detail oriented Effective communicator (written and oral) Advanced Skills
Optics and Vision design Structural and dynamic analysis Experience in using CAD Management (SolidWorks EPDM) Small part manipulation, alignment, and automation Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering 2+ years experience Proficient in the use of computer applications such as SolidWorks, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook). Ability to adhere to ethical principles that reflect the highest standards of organizational and individual behavior and comply with all laws and regulations.
