Senior Field Service Engineer – Controls & Automation

Travel:
Up to 50% (Domestic & International)
Pay Range:
$46.00 - $51.00 per hour (based on skills and experience)
Additional Requirements:
Frequent overtime (up to 600 hours annually), valid Passport and TWIC card required or eligible
Job Summary Seeking a skilled
Senior Field Service Engineer – Controls & Automation
with expertise in control systems, field service, and automation. Military experience is highly encouraged.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnostics and fault finding in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems
Installation and commissioning of control systems and automation packages
Interpretation of electrical and hydraulic schematics
Technical support and customer consultation
Training junior engineers and technicians
System testing and support
Travel for service assignments, up to 50%
Overtime as needed
Requirements
Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems
Military background preferred
Knowledge of power generation and control systems
Experience with Woodward controls, AVRs, PLC programming, HMI/SCADA systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus
Must obtain or possess TWIC card
Education & Experience
Trade school diploma + 5+ years of relevant experience, or
8+ years of industry experience without formal education
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Lift up to 50 lbs
Comfort with working in confined spaces and outdoors in various weather conditions
